Monoclonal Antibody: AT-13

Monoclonal antibody AT-13 recognizes conserved epitopes within the nucleocapsid protein of PRRSV. It was produced against a European-like strain (U.S. type 1) recently isolated within the United States. It has a high degree of cross reactivity to European, European - like, and North American isolates of PRRSV. This monoclonal antibody is produced as mouse ascites fluid.

Uses and Recommended Dilutions

The antibody is provided sterile filtered. Long term storage at -20 ͦ C ; short term storage a 4 ͦ C. Shelf life at -20 ͦ C is greater than 5 years. avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Aliquot into smaller amounts and refreeze if using in small amounts. Ascites fluid should not be diluted in PBS, as some procedures are very sensitive to the presence of phosphates.
